I think procrastination happens because sometimes tasks feel overwhelming or boring. Breaking work into tiny steps really helps me. Like instead of “study for exams,” I tell myself “just read one page.” It’s less scary that way.
For me, procrastination comes from fear of not doing something perfectly. I’ve learned to remind myself that done is better than perfect. That mindset really reduces stress and makes it easier to start.
I try to create a consistent daily routine. When tasks become part of my daily habits, it feels natural to do them without overthinking or procrastinating.
Journaling about why I procrastinate sometimes reveals hidden fears or distractions. Once I understand what’s behind it, I can work on those things.
